SONGS Hunter

SONGS HUNTER is a shortcut to automatically recognize and download songs using Shazam and Music Grabber. How to use it Make sure to have installed all requirements. Then you will have two ways to use this shortcut: standalone (RECON Mode) or from the iOS share menu inside Shazam (FETCH Mode). ● RECON Mode: - Create a new empty Reminder List named "Shazam Playlist" (this script uses Reminders as playlist holder to stay independent from Apple Music or iTunes). - Start the shortcut before or while you are playing a music playlist or a radio channel. - The script will start recognizing the song with Shazam. - If found a matching song, the shortcut will save the song informations, the cover image and the shazam URL in the reminder list named "Shazam Playlist". - The shortcut will ask if you want to recognize another song. If yes, before or after starting playing a song press the OK button in the shortcut dialog to start the recognition. - If you choose to stop recognizing songs, then the Shortcut will ask if you want to download the songs you identified. It will use the external 'Music Grabber' shortcut to do so, so ensure to have it installed along with the 'Shazam Link Coverter' shortcut. ● FETCH Mode: - Choose a song in Shazam - Click the Share button - Select this shortcut from the actions list. - The shortcut will find the corresponding YouTube link from Odesli (https://odesli.co) if it exists and will download it with 'Music Grabber'. - If no youtube link is available, the shortcut will search youtube for video with the name of the song in the title, and will present to you a list of the titles of the top 20 results. Choose a video that you think is right and the shortcut will download it with 'Music Grabber'. - Refer to 'Music Grabber' page for further instructions. - DONE! :D Enjoy the songs in your favourite audio player. My favourite on iOS is Flacbox. REQUIREMENTS You need the a-Shell Mini app installed. You need to install my other shortcut: Shazam Link Converter . The version must be 1.0.2 or greater. You need to install my other shortcut: Music Grabber . The version must be 1.5.5 or greater. Apple Reminders app and Shazam should also be installed on your device.
