Save Image from any browser to Files

INTRODUCTION (no need to read): In Android, you can download an image to a specific folder so that it doesn’t mix with other kinds of images (screenshots, camera photos, and images downloaded from other apps) and it also allows you to do whatever you want with this image file by any file manager app (such as move/copy/paste) or any photo app. In iOS, you can only save the image to the Photos app by default, so this image will get mixed in the sea of many other kinds of images in the Photos app (camera photos, images of other apps, etc). Now my shortcut helps you to solve this problem, it helps you to save the image file separately to a folder in the Apple’s Files app. FUNCTION: If you want to save an image from a website to the Files app, then you can choose this shortcut in the share sheet to do it. *NOTE: The image will be saved to the folder “Downloads” in “On My iPhone” by default, but you can choose another path if you want. HOW TO USE: With Safari or Brave (or similar browsers): touch and hold the picture to make the options show up. Then you choose “share”. Then you choose my shortcut “Save Image to Files” in the list of shortcuts. With Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge (or similar browsers): touch and hold the picture to make the options show up. Then you choose “Open Image“ to open that picture’s URL. After that, you choose the share icon next to the URL bar. Finally, you choose “Save Image to Files” in the list of shortcuts. =>Advice: you can put my shortcut in the top position of your share sheet’s list of shortcuts so that you can choose this shortcut instantly the next time you use it without having to scroll down the list of shortcuts to find my shortcut.
