Overview Turn various types of content into QR codes instantly. Whether it's files, contact details, calendar events, URLs, images, or your current WiFi network details, this shortcut is simple, versatile, and customisable. Why have a boring, plain QR Code, when you can have a mini work of art? Features Multiple Input Types Generate QR codes for: Images Files Contact cards - new in 3.0 Calendar events - new in 3.0 WhatsApp contact links - new in 3.0 Locations - new in 5.0 URLs QR Code Scanner - new in 6.0 Current WiFi network details Quick QR Generator Lite Want a lighter, faster-loading menu format but with all the same features ? You can now download Quick QR Generator Lite directly from the Settings menu ! Download Quick QR Generator Lite Image Vault and Logo Vault - new in 8.0 Users now have the option to add a background image or a logo from two libraries of preloaded images. Choose from optimised libraries of images and logos. Images are stored in JPEG-XL (JXL) format for improved compression, faster loading, and better quality. Choose online or download the libraries to your Files app (recommended). Add your own background images and logos via the new Settings menu. The libraries will be updated regularly with new images and logos to keep your options fresh and exciting. Customise the Colour of Your QR Code - new in 6.0 Customise the colour of your QR Code, its background, or both. Use the integrated colour picker for endless options. Brand new, improved colour picker - new in 7.0 Add Logos to Your QR Code - updated in 7.1 Dynamically coloured backgrounds automatically match your QR Code's background — whether white or custom - new in 6.2 Users can layer their own custom logo. You can also choose from a set of default logos provided - new in 7.1 . Users can select the logo size for overlays: small, medium, or large - new in 6.2 . New option to choose circular or square logos - new in 7.1 . Add a shadow effect to your logo for better visibility - new in 8.3 . QR Codes shown without and with the shadow effect Image Handling - updated in 8.2 Users must link an Imgur account to share images via QR Code. Once linked, you can: Upload single or multiple images Create albums to organize your uploads Add titles and descriptions to images Delete previously shared images when no longer needed Linking your Imgur account provides a significantly more reliable image upload experience. This method has been tested extensively and has not failed once . Simple One-Time Setup No previous knowledge of Imgur API settings is required—the built-in step-by-step process guides you through linking your account effortlessly. Simply choose "Images" from the main menu to start the setup process. Files Converts files into QR codes using the free public API from gofile.io . Files are uploaded securely and anonymously to gofile.io. Files may be deleted after a period of approximately 10 days. Contact Card - new in 3.0 Share saved contacts as vCards via QR code. Calendar Event - new in 3.0 Create a QR code for upcoming events or new events to easily share details. WhatsApp Contact Link - new in 3.0 Create a QR code that lets users start a WhatsApp chat with a specific number. Location - new in 5.0 Share your current location, coordinates, or search for a location. Create QR codes compatible with Waze, Google Maps, or Apple Maps. QR Code Scanner - new in 6.0 Scan an existing QR Code with your camera, or choose one saved in your Image Library. Recreate the QR Code for further customisation, such as adding a logo or changing colours. URLs Instantly convert URLs into QR Codes Exit Menu Once you're finished creating your QR code, choose what to do next—share via SMS, email, WhatsApp, or start creating a new QR Code right away. Known Issues Transparent Backgrounds with Custom Colours: Adding a transparent background to a QR Code that also has custom colours may cause issues with the functionality of the QR Code.
