Prime
The Most Advanced GPT Powered AI Assistant
What this shortcut does
This shortcut is no longer being updated. For a similar but more advanced version, check out my other shortcut, Alpha This is a modified version of Federico Viticci’s S-GPT shortcut. It has all the capabilities of S-GPT and more. I've combined both of the original shortcuts into one and added more functionality. There is a bug with iOS 17 where sometimes the text is cutoff in the response window. You can touch the response window to read the rest of the message. Prime supports both API and the official ChatGPT app. To use it with the app you just leave the “OpenAI API” setting blank during setup. If you want to use the app and still use the Picture and Transcribe Functions, you can enter your OpenAI API key in the corresponding section during setup. If using the API, context limit warnings will be given and older messages will begin to be truncated when approaching that models context limit. Prime is a shortcut that utilizes GPT to create a more robust assistant. You can also start a conversation by sharing something through the Share Sheet, where Siri Prime will try its best to summarize the input and then continue the conversation. Siri Prime is aware of your location, device details, the current date and time, and the weather for the next 10 days, to make it a more useful assistant. Siri Prime will also always be aware of how long it will take you to get home if you opt to enter your home address in setup or later in the Settings Menu. Say or type “Goodbye Siri Prime” to save the conversation and end the shortcut. Numerous privacy permission pop ups will appear during the first run of the shortcut, first run of some of the “Functions”, and for various “Actions”, like saving a file, when they are used for the first time. Some of these will show up multiple times, which is normal for the way the Shortcut is structured. Choose “always allow” to avoid these in the future. Setup I recommend making keyboard shortcuts for the phrases “Prime Functions Menu”, “Prime Settings Menu”, and “Goodbye Siri Prime” by going into the settings under general->keyboard->text replacement. On first run, a file titled “Folder Check.txt” will be created in your iCloud drive, along with a folder called “Siri Prime”. In the “Siri Prime” folder, 8 more folders will be created: Siri Prime Memory - Includes 2 more sub folders called “Chat” and “Persona”. This is Siri Prime’s short-term memory. Siri Prime Audio Files - This will be the save location for the audio files created when the Persona Setting is toggled on. Siri Prime Pictures - This will be the save location for the Picture Function. Siri Prime Conversations - This will the save location for the conversation when you say or type “Goodbye Siri Prime”. Siri Prime Transcriptions - This will be the save location for the Transcribe Function. Siri Prime User Info - This will be the save location for user info and API keys. This info will now be automatically entered after updating. Siri Prime Stories - This will be the save location for stories created with the Story Function. Siri Prime Voice ID's - This will be the save location for voices created with the Voice Clone Function. After the required folders are created, Siri Prime will guide you through the setup process. This will only happen on your very first run of Prime; if you are updating, your information will be used automatically in the new version. Feel free to skip any of the questions by just pressing "Done" to move on. Anything entered or skipped during the setup can be changed in the Settings Menu. Functions Menu Say or type “Prime Functions Menu” to activate. The phrase can be said at any point in your response to allow for more fluid activation. Some of these Functions are available through Siri, but I wanted to add them to Siri Prime to increase functionality. Siri Prime is aware of these Functions, so if you have any questions about them or how to use them, just ask! If you use a Function that requires a key, but you don't have or did not enter one yet, you will be taken to the signup page of the service that is required for that particular Function. •Clipboard - Siri Prime will interact with the text in your clipboard, based on your input. •Email - Siri Prime will take a basic idea for an email and spruce it up before sending it to the selected contact.
