Lig(ht-D)ark Walls for Widgy
Set wallpapers for light and dark mode
What this shortcut does
This version is for the newer versions of Widgy, v4 onwards. Anyways the shortcut has the following features: Choose 2 wallpapers for light and dark (Or 1 image for both) Lock Screen and Home Screen get there own wallpapers. Overlay images on top of said wallpapers (Shadows for icons, docks etc…) Use random images from your device as wallpapers. Updater Auto sets transparency images in Widgy. Help section showing how to do everything. It uses sunrise/sunset to know when to toggle light/dark mode. This is updated every 7 days. (You can setup an automation anytime before or after sunrise/sunset) Note iOS 26: This version of Apples OS forces a parallax effect on wallpapers, which unfortunately will have an adverse effect for some wallpapers. I have found a work around for most images, but there will be some edge cases where it zooms the image into what it thinks is a subject (persons/animal etc…). Unfortunately, there’s no way for me to fix this. Apple need to allow me to disable this function. Additionally, using the new glass effect in Widgy won’t work via shortcuts because Apple doesn’t allow this API when set via a shortcut.
