Important information: A bug under iOS 13 can cause an empty PDF to be created (with iOS 13.3 the problem seems to be solved). If the error message that the lyrics could not be found appears again and again when searching for lyrics, then it is probably not because the lyrics were not found or because the Google Request Rate was exceeded, but also because of another bug in iOS 13. (I personally cannot use the shortcut with iPadOS, for example. But I have no issues with two devices and iOS.) Hopefully, Apple will fix these bugs as soon as possible. Besides displaying them (now with Dark Mode support), you can also share the lyrics with others (as text or PDF) or create your own personal collection in a dedicated iCloud Drive folder. Step-by-Step You're looking for the lyrics of your favourite song? Then just start I Am Genius , search for the lyrics of the currently playing song or enter a few keywords. Usually, a few words are enough to find your song. You don't have to enter the whole title—just some important keywords. The shortcut searches for you via Google on Genius.com for the lyrics and then displays them in a separate window. That window supports Light & Dark Mode.
