# Share Contact | Shortcuts Library

> Quickly get and share a contact without leaving Messages

## What this shortcut does

This app allows you to type a name, select it and run the shortcut, and it will allow you to select a contact from a list of all pertaining names and then copy the contact to your clipboard to share it. The workflow is as such:
Step 1: Someone asks you for someones number “Hey, what is Mike’s number?”
Step 2: Type “Mike” in your response and then highlight and select all
Step 3: Hit More and then hit Shortcut
Step 4: Run Share Contact shortcut and follow instructions
Step 5: Select name in text and paste over it
You’re done!
