# Nuvole AI | Shortcuts Library > The most convenient and incredibly powerful AI shortcut without API keys or Apps ## What this shortcut does ⚠️ Due to scheduled maintenance, starting June 21, 2026 at 12:00 UTC and until the update is released, all requests will be temporarily routed through Ernie-5.1 by Baidu, a cost-efficient model that delivers the same level of intelligence and performance as OpenAI GPT-5.4. Unfortunately, vision capabilities and image generation will be temporarily unavailable. Also, a lot of errors may occur while processing requests. For now, it’s recommended to use the more stable Nuvole AI Lite . Overview Nuvole AI shortcut combines the incredible power of the big popular AI models, powerful chat history system, beautiful design, customization and convenience. All for free, without API keys and third-party apps ! Main functions : history system that you can save, view, edit and continue your chats, text generation with access to real-time information and reasoning with inputs using images or files; image generation; summarization of videos on YouTube, articles from sites, docs and presentations. All this with a powerful processing system and protection from errors. And… more ! Direct download link Setup When you first start this shortcut, you will be asked to choose the language in which you will work with Nuvole AI, AI model, configure display Main Menu, request entering mode and display notifications about Nuvole AI updates. You can easily change the parameters later in the Settings of Nuvole AI. Available Languages Above is a list of the availability of languages, as well as the translation of the all Nuvole AI menus (250+ text elements). Translations with AI can be slightly inaccurate. More translations will be available soon. Main Menu How to open Main Menu? You can configure in the Settings or during setup how this menu will open: always open it at launch, or without opening to enter the request. You can also open it leave the input field empty and the Main Menu will open automatically. Currently in the Main Menu is available: continue chat, create a new chat, load and continue last chat, chats history, settings, send feedback with idea or bug report to developer and quick jump to page with full description of Nuvole AI functions. AI Models The models available at this time are: Qwen (Coder) ( Qwen3 Coder 30B ) Mistral ( Mistral Small 3.2 24B ) Gemini (Lite) ( Google Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite ) ChatGPT (Nano) ( OpenAl GPT-5 Nano ) Grok (Fast) ( xAI Grok 4 Fast ) ChatGPT (Mini) ( OpenAl GPT-5 Mini ) GLM ( Z.ai GLM-4.7 ) Gemini (Flash) ( Google Gemini 3 Flash ) Claude (Haiku) ( Anthropic Claude Haiku 4.5 ) Gemini (Pro) ( Google Gemini 3 Pro ) ChatGPT ( OpenAl GPT-5.2 ) Claude (Sonnet) ( Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4.5 ) AI models will automatically update to new versions if they are available. If any AI model is no longer available, you will be prompted to replace it. If one AI is temporarily unavailable, you will be offered to replace it with another one (see the Error Handling section for more information). How Does It Works? You don’t need any third-party apps, API keys, accounts or anything else to use this shortcut... Nuvole AI is completely free and does not require any data from you. Nuvole AI uses the free Pollinations AI API to process your requests. Request processing works as follows: The request is first sent to the Nuvole Systems API (a proprietary API for Nuvole AI), which forwards it to the Mistral AI API . During this step, the chat’s icon, name, required functions, and other key parameters are determined. If online information is needed, Nuvole AI connects to the MIKLIUM API , an open-source API developed by __MIKL__ in collaboration with other Shortcuts creators, to perform web searches. Each function (reasoning, image generation, etc.) is executed separately by querying the Pollinations AI API as follows: The system first attempts to send the request directly to Pollinations AI using a public API key (with usage limits). If the limit is exceeded, the request is routed through the Nuvole Systems API , which forwards it to Pollinations AI using an unlimited secret API key. The final response is generated by combining the results of the executed functions and web searches into a cohesive answer, using the same request-processing system as functions. If an error occurs, the shortcut checks the server status via the Nuvole Systems API and displays it alongside error details. Convenience in Displaying the AI’s Response The goal was to make Nuvole AI as user-friendly as possible, with special attention given to the convenience of displaying AI responses. Every time gradient generates AI so that the coloring of the menu is more suitable for the request theme. Features: Chat history: You will be shown the all messages of the chat (can be disabled in the settings). Amazing animations: Beautiful animation of the appearance of the AI response. Syntax highlighting: All parts of the code or formulas generated by Nuvole AI will be highlighted for easier reading. Hiding large texts: If your AI prompt turns out to be too big, it will be partially hidden, but you will still be able to view it. Quick page downward movement: “Down” button will be displayed at the bottom so that you can quickly move down the HTML page. Copy and Share: You can also select the blocks you want (AI answers or images) to copy or share this object! Just click on the desired block and a menu with buttons that perform the above functions will appear along with its selection. Click a second time on a selected block, another block or an unselected area to deselect it. Functions Nuvole AI can use functions - a powerful tool to generate a final response. Each function will be used automatically based on your request. You can use all functions at once. Currently 7 functions are available: Access to real-time information: Nuvole AI can automatically find information on the Internet using MIKLIUM API at your request, if necessary (can be disabled in settings). Thinking: Ask something to the Nuvole AI, asking to think, reason, use DeepThink, etc. Nuvole AI will think about question, structure information, and produce a better and more meaningful answer. Image generation: If you ask to generate an image, draw a picture, etc. Nuvole AI will realize your request using Seedream 4.0 (up to two images can be generated per request)! You can also improve the prompt for generating a picture using AI if you select the desired parameter in the Settings. Notes: Ask Nuvole AI to create a note with something and it will be created in the Apple Notes app (up to two notes can be created per request). Before Nuvole AI start creating a note, it will clarify whether you really want to create this note. Settings: Ask Nuvole AI to open the settings, change parameters, etc. to access to change the settings. Save chat: If “Save Only When Asked” is selected for the “Chat Saving” option in the settings, the chat will be saved and updated only if Nuvole AI is asked to do it. Completion of work: Say goodbye, bye, etc. to Nuvole AI and after the answer is displayed, the shortcut will automatically turn off. Share Sheet Import whatever you want into Nuvole AI You can use the Share Sheet menu to send Nuvole AI selected text, YouTube videos (via MIKLIUM API ), links to websites, Plain Text or Markdown files, Photos (HEIF, PNG and JPEG), PDF, Pages Documents, Word Documents, Office Presentations (PowerPoint Presentations), Keynote Presentations; ask questions about them or make a summarizations, choosing the size of the summarization (can be configured in Nuvole AI Settings). Additional features: If files consisting of pages contain more than 10 pages, you will be asked to use the entire file or select specific pages. You can send the selected text to Nuvole AI from anywhere. You will be asked to change it or ask a question about it. If the text is too large, it will be possible to make a summarization. After answering your question or summarizing, you will be able to continue the dialogue on the subject of the shared item. In History you can find all your past chats that you have with Nuvole AI. Main history menu: At the top of the menu you will be displayed the functions of History, below all chats, as well as their total number and the total number of messages. Each chat has its own parameters: name and icon that automatically assigns Nuvole AI, number of messages and how long ago you have used this chat. Actions for separated chat: You can load and continue chats, view them, change their names and icons, or delete them. Search: History has a quick search with regex support to quickly find necessary chats. Deleting chats: You can quickly delete all existing chats, only selected chats, all found chats in the search, only selected chats among the search results and delete them separately if you do not need them. Customization: You can choose in the settings whether new chats will be saved automatically or at your request. Also, whether last chat will be loaded and continued automatically when running Nuvole AI (only if “Don’t Open the Main Menu” is selected for the “Main Menu” option in the settings). Settings Open Settings from Main Menu, or ask Nuvole AI to open the Settings to change the settings of this shortcut. Settings are divided into categories, currently there are 6 and contains 14 parameters: General Settings (Language, AI Model, Main Menu, Checking for Updates), Processing of the Request (Entering a Request, Internet Search), History (Chat Saving, Auto-load Last Chat), Displaying the Answer (Font Size, Appearance, Chat History Displaying), Image Generation (Enchance the Prompt, NSFW Content Filtering), Share Sheet (Request Type, Summarization Size). Error Handling If an error occurs during response generation, Nuvole AI will check the server status based on the error rate for the selected model on Pollinations AI and display it alongside the error. The system will also indicate when the error occurred. You will be able to exit the Nuvole AI, restart Nuvole AI, attempt to re-process a request, report a bug, or you can quickly change the AI model and retry the request: change the AI model for that session, or for all time. Feedbacks You can also write a feedback, an idea, ask questions or report a bug directly from Main menu or Error menu. You can submit a feedback by email or anonymously. You can also choose what your report will contain: whether it will contain your Nuvole AI configuration and the history of the chat in which the error occurred (if you report a bug from Error menu) Build-in Check for Updates You will receive notifications that the new updates for Nuvole AI are available. You will be shown brief changes in the update, choosing to install the update or not. If more than one update has been released since your version was released, you will be shown how many updates have been released, how long ago they were released, and short changes to each version. By clicking on the “Full list of changes” button, you will be shown the full list of changes. You can also hide notification about current update forever by clicking on the “Do not offer this update” button, or completely disable the check for updates in the settings. Known issues Freezing at start: When you start Nuvole AI, the text entry window may not appear. Simply restart Nuvole AI. Problems with iCloud syncing: Errors such as “The file couldn’t be opened” may occur. To fix it, open the Files app, navigate to iCloud Drive > Shortcuts , then long-press on the NuvoleAI folder and select “Keep downloaded”.
