## What this shortcut does

This will fetch the elevation and current temperature for an arbitrary latitude and longitude.
You can use this in two ways:
Copy a latitude and longitude separated by a "," and run the shortcut. Note
Google Maps
defaults to a format like,
(37.8599067, -121.9051760)
. The shortcut will take care of reformatting that for you automatically.
Use the Share menu in google maps. Just go to
Google Maps
, select any point, and run this shortcut from the Share menu.
You will need a free developer key for MapQuest for the elevation. Just paste in the 'Consumer Key' you get there in the shortcut.
No third party Updater Shortcut required.
This shortcut has an integrated update mechanism called
Embed-a-Update
. Thanks to the embedded updater, it does not require any external updater shortcut. The shortcut checks for updates itself, so you'll never miss an update and it is super fast.
