# Extract audio from video | Shortcuts Library

> Extracts the audio from a video, saves it, and lets you rename it.

## What this shortcut does

Choose the folder you want the file to save to for both of the set up questions, or just go in and change both places that needs a folder to Ask Each Time if you don’t have just one folder you’ll want them to go into.
Go to the share sheet of the video you want to save the audio from
Click the Extract Audio shortcut
Type in a name for the file
BOOM!!! All done.
