# Blurred Background Frame | Shortcuts Library

> Create a blurred/darkened background around the “icons area” of your Home Screen

## What this shortcut does

This shortcut creates a blurred and/or darkened background around the area of your wallpaper where icons appear.
You can choose the:
* amount of blur
* amount of darkness
* corner radius of the box
* whether apply the effects to the area under your icons or around them (see images below)
Blurred and Darkened Background (50%/50%)
Just Blurred Background (50%)
Just Darkened Background (50%)
Darkened Background around the icons (100%)
